According to News.com: Red Hat buys data integration firm MetaMatrix. MetaMatrix tools are used to help companies create a single “view” of a customer by pulling information from several different databases.
This tool will become open source and distributed under an open source license as well as included as part of the Red Hat JBoss Middleware enterprise stack (with JBoss app server, Hibernate, JBoss Seam, etc.).
Also, JBoss.org has been revamped and was just re-launched as well.
